ADVISORY BOARD
Ir. Nuswardana Sarodja, B.Eng., M.Eng., MM. Ph.D (cand.)
Nuswardana Sarodja received a Bachelor's degree at the Saitama Institute of Technology, Japan, in the field of Electron Medical Engineering. He was once trusted as Head of History and World Heritage at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture. Previously, he worked at the BPPT Center for Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology in the field of Technology and Medical Devices and Dawee Electronics Indonesia. The story begins at the age of 16 in 1989 when he took part in a student exchange. At that time, he, who was still in grade 3 at SMAN 4 Jakarta, was selected to go to Japan in 1990. Thanks to the Habibie Program scholarship, Denny was able to experience studying in Sakura Country, more precisely at the Saitama Institute of Technology.
In 1990 he was declared to have passed the STMDP 1 Scholarship (Science & Technology for Manpower Development Program) and since 1990 he has become a CPNS. Denny admitted that he had met a senpai (senior student) who was studying in Japan. The senior told the profiles of professors in Saitama. So, he could find a professor in the field of Electron Medical Engineering that he wanted to study. The professor in question is named Linuma. Denny's relationship with the professor was very close during his studies. It is not surprising that until now he still continues to communicate like his parents and parent house in Saitama. Because of this closeness, he once thought about stopping by again in Saitama, Japan every year when he visited Japan because a part of his heart was left there. Serving the country after serving his status as a student (1990-2000) in Japan, Denny continued his doctoral program in Opt Electronics and Laser Applications at the University of Indonesia with a dissertation on 4th Generation Magnetic Resonance Imaging. To this day, he is still impressed by the integrity of his professor in Japan who he captured during the guidance process. When this story was told, Denny still had the status of an ASN at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture. More precisely, he was assigned to the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
Apart from that, he also teaches Nihongo at Fikom, Pancasila University every Wednesday, apart from teaching Indonesian to Japanese expatriates in Jakarta. Denny spent almost 10 years as a student in Japan. During that time, he was Secretary to the Chairman of PPI Korda Kanto, Japan. According to him, there are memories every time he meets fellow scholarship recipients (IABIE) from various countries. In Denny's eyes; Japan, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Belgium are countries that are poor in natural resources. However, they are rich and prosperous mainly because of the wealth and thinking ability of their people.
