Extraction Process Method
We use high-tech extractor machines to be more efficient and effective so that we are able to produce herbal extraction results with the best composition and content of similar herbal products on the market.
The extraction process carried out at PT FAST uses the Maceration Method taught directly by Our Teachers, namely Prof. Dr. Apt Suwijoyo Pramono, DEA and Prof. Dr. Apt Sidik Oemar by soaking using water or ethanol according to the morphology of each simplicia so as to obtain stronger active substances. Therefore, herbal products from PT FAST not only achieve the Promotive and Preventive properties category, but can also achieve the Curative (Treatment) and Rehabilitative (Recovery) properties category.
Our Teacher Profile
Prof. Dr. Apt Suwijoyo Pramono, DEA., ialah Professor bidang Fitokimia dan Fitoterapi. Graduated as a pharmacist and became a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM in 1977, his master's and doctoral degrees in France from Universite Paul Sabatier in 1979-1982. In 2007, Suwijiyo became a visiting professor at the Institute of Natural Medicine, Toyama University, Japan. In addition, he was once an expert in the assessment of traditional medicine and health supplements for the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration; Chair of the ASEAN Traditional Medicine & Health Supplement Scientific Committee; member of the Advisory Panel on Traditional & Complimentary/Alternative Medicines WHO; as Chair of the Working Group on Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicines (POKJANAS TOOT); member of the National Commission for Herbal Medicine Scientification; and from 2010-2018 became Chair Person of Legislation and Regulatory Sciences FAPA.
Prof. Dr. Apt. Sidik Oemar, is Professor Expertise Pharmacognosy. Currently serving as Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjadjaran University. He is active in conducting research, some of his research that has been produced and patented, are Cursil (Phytopharmaca, Liver Disease Medicine), Kiranti (Traditional Herbal Medicine) and Natura Platelet, herbal preparations to prevent stroke. From various research that has been done, he received honorary awards directly from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the Honorary Main Researcher Award (1990) and the Honorary SATYA Award (1992).
